⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Bow Street Bachelors are back with Sebastian Wolff finding himself protecting the intriguing Miss Anna Brown. He believes Anna is associated with the missing Russian princess, Anastasia Denisova, and offers her refuge in his gambling establishment. Anna had gone to great lengths to make it appear as though the princess had committed suicide so she can escape the grabby hands of Vasili Petrov.
Of course, they spend a lot of time together and fall in love, but that’s the magic of these stories. The action drives the plot along very well. The author knows how to build up the underlying attraction between them and the resulting suspense.
This is exactly the kind of story that I love. The hero and heroine are thrown together by circumstances, they fall in love while trying to fend off the villain.
It’s not necessary to read the series in order, but it is well worth reading all of the books.
