ROMANTIC SUSPENSE

The Deep Ops series features an odd collection of crafty, talented men and women, and the people who fall in love with them.

Allison Brennan is one of my favorite romantic suspense authors.

Navy SEALs, FBI agents, and private security personnel come together in an excellent romantic suspense series. Lots of action and steaminess.

Troubleshooters Series

The Romantic Suspense Series is a collection of various series that overlap at times in terms of characters and locations. They're best read in order. Each book features a different romance with nail-biting suspense and action.

The Tracers series by Laura Griffin consist of 13 novels that can be read on their own, with plenty of action and steamy romance.

Karin Slaughter writes excellent romantic suspense, with a little more emphasis on the suspense. She has standalone novels as well as series.

Grant County Series

Follow Laurel Snow as she sets up a new FBI office in the Genesis Valley, solves murders, and tries to stay out of her psychotic sister's way.

CONTEMPORARY

True North is a series by Sarina Bowen that takes place in Vermont. Packed with emotion, passion, and humour in all the right places.

Each book stands well on its own.

Check & Mate is a clever and swoonworthy YA debut, in which life's moving pieces bring rival chess players together in a match for the heart.

Alex discovers she is part fae and becomes embroiled in the world of conflict between the fae, vampires, werewolves, humans, and other paranormal creatures.

The Magicsmith Series

My Reviews

In the Psy-Changeling series humans, changelings, and the emotionless Psy are slowly finding ways to work together and break the Psy's Silence.

A dangerous alliance between a Vampyre bride and an Alpha Werewolf becomes a love deep enough to sink your teeth into.

Ali Hazelwood's debut paranormal Bride is well worth reading.

FANTASY/SCI-FI

In this urban fantasy series, the world is ruled by powerful Houses, with immense magic at their disposal. The Baylor family and their investigative agency is pulled into this world and has to find a way to stay on top of it.

Hidden Legacy Series

Griffin plans to save the world and reunite the kingdoms. It will take a lot of convincing to get Cat on his side.
Exciting action, interesting characters, plenty of steam.

Kingmaker Chronicles

Everleigh takes the crown of Bellona after the royal family is brutally murdered. Now she has to solidify her rule.
Crown of Shards Trilogy

The saga continues 16 years later with the story of Princess Gemma, who had survived the massacre when she was a child.
Gargoyle Queen Trilogy

Section 47 Series
