BLURB

Meet You Under the Stars is the second Morgan’s Grove Novel. Chaynie works at the library and she is a bit shocked when she is roped into organizing the library’s Valentine’s Day event. She is definitely not feeling the romance. Then Greg shows up to oversee the library’s renovations, and suddenly Chaynie’s days are looking a bit brighter.

MY THOUGHTS

Chaynie had some issues to work through as well as her mom, but there wasn’t anything too earth-shattering. I guess it felt like normal life, where we have to make choices that seem difficult to us, but aren’t necessarily all that exciting. It’s a nice, quiet pace.

Greg and Chaynie built up their friendship gradually and eventually it became more. It was very satisfying to see them come together at the end. I also enjoyed all the descriptions of the new reading corner in the library. Greg is very supportive and patient.

All-in-all, I’d say this isn’t overly exciting, but a steady, quiet love story. Ideal for a day to just unwind and relax. Each of the novels in this series can be read on its own.

Thank you to the author for providing me with a copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
