Welcome to another Monday Musings with me. Don’t ask me what happened, but I completely missed out on my musing last week, so this week will cover the past two weeks’ news and books.

School started again for my kids on September 1st. So far so good. Let’s hope it stays that way.

We celebrated Labor Day on the 6th here in Canada. A public holiday is always welcome. It was a fairly quiet long weekend for us. I did some volunteer work on Friday evening and got home barely before sunrise. It was great fun working with a wonderful group of people.

This past week was spent working and reading (as much as I can). I do freelance subtitling and that has kept me busy this week. And I voted in the advanced polls this past weekend as well.

We are back to mandated masking in all indoor spaces, but everything is still open as before. Wish me luck, today I am going for another COVID shot. And this week I am planning and preparing for my daughter’s birthday.

Well, onto the reading part of this post. I didn’t do any reviews on my blog this past week. I did read a lot, though. Sometimes it’s fun just to read and add a star review to Goodreads instead of writing a full on review for my blog and Goodreads.

FOR THIS COMING WEEK

I look forward to my reading list this week and I hope I can get to all of them:

What are you reading? Let me know in the comments below.

And that’s it. Thanks for musing with me on this beautiful Monday.
