⭐⭐⭐⭐ Was I hooked by that book? Yes. The drool-worthy SWAT team is back, and the enemy is something out of a horror story. Compelling action, tempered by a sweet, blossoming romance.

BLURB

Ah, the hunky SWAT werewolves are back with Trey and medical examiner, Samantha, as the focus. They have been dancing around their attraction for each other for a couple of years now and Samantha finally took the bull by the horns. But their courtship is troubled by new and unexpected enemies.

MY THOUGHTS

As usual, I really enjoyed this book just as much as all its predecessors. The plot flowed along nicely and towards the end the action picked up pace along with my heartbeat. Parts of it were a bit surreal, it wasn’t just our heroes who were caught off guard with this one. And Trey and Samantha were this sweet, almost naïve, calm oasis of hope in between all the death and gore.

I can recommend this entire series to readers of paranormal romance. Plenty of steamy romance, werewolves, and suspense. It’s not strictly necessary to read them in order, but I think it’ll make more sense if you do.
