⭐⭐⭐

The Kings and their mates can finally relax and take a break from all the fighting and scheming that have been ruling their lives for so long. Con and Rhi are on their own at Draegan, waiting for the rest of the gang to return from wherever they went to recharge their batteries and giving the King and his queen some much-needed alone time. The two of them reminisce about the past and plan a fabulous Christmas party for everybody, while the uncertain specter of the future hangs over them.

For once, there are no nail-biting scenes, apart from the ones foreshadowing the new series to come. All-in-all this is a lovely look into the Dragon Kings’ lives and their dreams for the future.
