4 Stars from me.
This was a super sweet read. I enjoyed the fact that the focus of the story was on the men and their search for redeeming their love lives. I liked the side romances that were focused on, it showed us two different men with two different issues and how they dealt with it. Jonathan was a great character. I didn’t like Lissa’s actions at the end when they finally have the chance to meet again. She came off as a push-over at the reunion, and leaving with her old boyfriend like that made her appear weak. I kept hoping throughout the book that he would meet someone else to be happy with. That said, I suppose the story wasn’t really about them being together, but his journey to get his girl. That part was a great story.
The writing was clean and interesting, and I definitely wanted to keep reading to see how it all worked out for everybody.
Was I hooked by this book? Some parts of it, yes.
