Welcome to my Weekly Wrap Up. Our time changed today. Not a fan, and I’m fully expecting it to hit me tomorrow quite hard. We also had quite a bit of snow today and it was shoveling time again. It is pretty, at least.
I had a good week. Volunteered at the Food Bank again, met up with some friends for wine and appetizers, and we had breakfast with friends that we haven’t seen in quite a while (they moved away). It was really lovely having the chance to catch up. The rest of the weekend was quiet and lazy. Oh, and the hubs and I bought new sofas for the living room. I am super excited about that.
And now on to the reading part of the post. (Mobile users – tap on the image of the book cover. PC users – just hover the mouse over the cover.)
DONE AND DUSTED
I posted one new review and no new quickie reviews.
FOR THIS COMING WEEK
Some more will inevitably be added as the week goes on.
QUOTES THAT CAUGHT MY EYE
From The Halifax Hellions by Alexandra Vasti: Love. She loved him in return. She loved Henry Mortimer, and she needed to tell him so. Unfortunately, the rapidity with which she had come to this conclusion outmatched Henry’s walking pace from the waterfall back to the village, and he was not presently available for her declaration.
From Demon Magic and a Martini by Annette Marie: There are two kinds of girls: those who’ve fantasized about a threesome with a pair of hot guys, and liars.
OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS
You can find more recommendations here. Is there anything you’d like to recommend? I’m always open to new authors and new books.

And that’s it. Thanks for joining me on this Weekly Wrap Up adventure.

That sounds like a fun week except for the snow but it is pretty. You are reading some great books.
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
You’ve definitely tackled some great reads lately! I’m right there with you on the time change—it’s absolutely exhausting, and I still haven’t managed to adjust to the new schedule
We are two days in and I feel like I haven’t slept in weeks. It’s awful.
I feel you!
We got a new couch for our family room last summer and it has been so nice (our other one was 20+ years old!) I hope they are comfy and you enjoy them! Hope this week is going well, too!
Yes, the living room looks so different and new now. I’m loving it. Hope yours are super comfy too.
I’m behind on reading posts because last week was just crazy. Sorry to be so late! We didn’t get the snow this past week but might be getting some tonight. Hope you had a good week!

No need to apologize, happens to the best of us. I’m behind as well.
