Welcome to my Weekly Wrap Up. Well, I survived the time change (barely and with much complaint). It was a mixed week with blood tests and doctor’s visits, but also coffee with friends and a fun scrapbooking evening with wine.
Sadly, on Saturday, we had to say goodbye to our dog, Baxter. He was well on his way to 16 years and the last couple of months were not great for him. It was definitely difficult, but the best for him. All his places are empty now and I have come to realize just how much of my time were spent on him. It’s an adjustment, that’s for sure.
And then, on a bittersweet happier note, my husband and I are leaving at the end of this week for a cruise through the Panama Canal. We are very excited. This week is full of planning, last-minute appointments, and my usual pre-travel stress. It also means I won’t be posting anything to the blog until we are back home again in April, and social media will probably be fairly quiet as well.
And now on to the reading part of the post. (Mobile users – tap on the image of the book cover. PC users – just hover the mouse over the cover.)

Thank you.
I’m so sorry about Baxter. Have a fun trip.
Thank you.
My deepest sympathies on the loss of Baxter. It’s always so hard losing our furbabies. I hope the trip with your husband is amazing. Safe travels!
Thank you.
I’m so sorry to hear about Baxter’s passing. It’s never easy to lose a furry family member, but I truly believe you’ll meet again at the Rainbow Bridge. On a brighter note, that cruise with your husband sounds like such a wonderful getaway! I hope you guys have the most amazing time!
Thank you!
Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear about Baxter. My Dora is 15 and I can see how she is getting frailer and I worry more about her every day. Sorry I’m late getting here to comment again, my weeks keep getting away from me! Hope that you are able to have a nice trip though!
