Welcome to my Monday Musings. School is now in full swing again as well as all the other after-school activities. Our weather is warmer than normal for September, so that has been an unexpected bonus.
I visited with some friends this past week. On the weekend I helped a friend move into her new house, which turned into wine on the deck after all the hard work. And we celebrated my kid’s birthday.
A mix of old and new authors made it to my ereader this past week and it certainly made things interesting. Do you have a favourite new author?
And now on to the reading part of the post. (To find out more about the books: For mobile users – tap on the image of the book cover. For PC users – just hover the mouse over the cover.)
DONE AND DUSTED
I posted three new reviews this past week, and I have about three reviews to catch up on. There were no quickie reviews.
FOR THIS COMING WEEK
Some more will inevitably be added as the week goes on.
QUOTES THAT CAUGHT MY EYE
These are all from My Rogue to Ruin by Erica Ridley:
“Theirs isn’t the opinion that matters.” He cupped her face and stroked her cheek with his thumb. “Don’t you ever be the person who limits you.”
“Pies are pies.” She patted her stomach. “They’re for all the space between meals.”
“This family wouldn’t be a rainbow without every one of its hues, no matter how bright it shines that day.”
OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS
You can find more recommendations here. Is there anything you’d like to recommend? I’m always open to new authors and new books.
What are you reading? Let me know in the comments below.
And that’s it. Thanks for musing with me on this beautiful Monday.

It’s great to see The Suite Spot on here! Such a great series in general. I hope you will enjoy your books this week and happy reading!
Yes, I’ve been enjoying that series a lot.
I’ve heard good things about The Suite Spot but haven’t read it.
I see a few familiar books in your haul. I hope school is going well – are you a teacher/work in the schools?
No, just my kids going to school and uni.
I hope you love Liese’s book. It is good and the series gets better and better as it goes along.
I finished it yesterday and I loved it. It made me cry.
