Welcome to my Monday Musings. Last week was a lot more relaxed work-wise and I had more time for reading and catching up with other things. On Saturday, we commemorated Remembrance Day. My family and I attended a ceremony where my son played The Last Post on trumpet. The rest of the weekend was quiet and lazy, and we spent way too much money at Costco.
And now on to the reading part of the post. (To find out more about the books: For mobile users – tap on the image of the book cover. For PC users – just hover the mouse over the cover.)
DONE AND DUSTED
I added two new reviews this week, and no new quickie reviews.
FOR THIS COMING WEEK
Some more will inevitably be added as the week goes on.
QUOTES THAT CAUGHT MY EYE
From Love Redesigned by Lauren Asher: Screw guys in backward ball caps and gray sweatpants. Men in hard hats and work boots are my new kink, thanks to Construction Ken standing in front of me with muscular arms and killer cheekbones.
OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS
You can find more recommendations here. Is there anything you’d like to recommend? I’m always open to new authors and new books.
What are you reading? Let me know in the comments below.
And that’s it. Thanks for joining me on this Monday Musings adventure.

Trish Doller is an author I have got to read soon! Looks like some great books last week.
That’s a week with better balance, good for you! I enjoyed The Unhoneymooners.
I’m reading Never Met a Duke Like You right now and enjoying it. I skipped your review as not to read anything spoilerish! I hope you have a great week.
Glad you’re liking it. Hope my review isn’t spoilerish. I try not to.
Costco always gets us, too. We always try to guess our total before we get it at the register. It sounds like you had a good weekend and got some good books in.
What an honour to play The Last Post! Spending too much is always part of my Costco shopping too! Have a great week!
Thanks, you too.
It’s nice to have a quieter week. I enjoyed Off the Map hope you do too! I’ll be starting Inheritance next.
Hope you like it. So far it’s pretty riveting. I’m almost done.
I loved the whole series by Trish Doller and hope you enjoy Off the Map Rolé. I hope you had a great week and that it wasn’t as stressful at work.
