Hi, and welcome to my Monday Musings.

There’s not a lot to say about this past week, really. My daughter recovered quite well from her wisdom teeth extraction. She is now enrolled at university for next year, and I have to admit, it’s a bit daunting, all the information coming in. Poor kid doesn’t know what hit her.

I had coffee with a friend on Tuesday and brunch with another friend on Friday. I was surprised to see the restaurant so busy. It never occurred to me to even consider that scenario. I guess I just got so used to things being quieter, but it looks like the quiet is now over. And on Saturday we had friends over to our house for dinner. I’m quite the social butterfly apparently, but I love it.

This coming week is spring break and I’m looking forward to putting my chauffeur hat aside for a while.

Have you ever done anything unexpected, outside of your comfort zone? I’m looking for some ideas to jump-start my enthusiasm for life again. It’s been tough keeping up a positive outlook lately.

And now on to the reading part of the post.

My reading past and present:

DONE AND DUSTED

Not all of these have reviews on the blog, I just don’t have time to write reviews for every single book I read.

FOR THIS COMING WEEK

I look forward to my reading list this week and some extra ones will probably be added to the list as the week goes on.

OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS

I am still slowly making my way through my re-read of the Chicagoland Vampire series by Chloe Neill. A great series if you like vampires and witches and shifters.

You can find more recommendations from me here. Is there anything you’d like to recommend? I’m always open to new authors and new books.

What are you reading? Let me know in the comments below.

And that’s it. Thanks for musing with me on this beautiful Monday.
