Welcome to another Monday Musings with me.

The puppy survived his dental surgery on Tuesday intact. Well, this puppy is almost 12, so the surgery were very much needed. I hope he feels better by now. He seems to be doing good. It most definitely did not affect his appetite.

School started on Monday and nobody was super excited about going back, but it went well this week, nonetheless. Thank goodness. We are back in the swing of things.

Friday morning I had a wonderful coffee visit with a friend, catching up after the holidays. And Saturday evening was spent drinking wine with some other girlfriends. That always lifts the spirits.

Sunday was a quiet day getting some reviews done and updating the blog.

And now, onto the reading part of this post.

Not all of these have a review on my blog. Reviews take time, and sometimes I just want to read a book without doing a review as well.

For my birthday the wonderful and generous author, Erica Ridley, had sent me a volume of books, Exclusive Jewels – Volume 4. This consists of 6 historical romances written by 6 different authors, some of whom I’ve read before and some I haven’t. I enjoyed it a lot.
