Welcome to another Monday Musings with me.

It was a good week. I was happy to be home again, sleeping in my own bed, working in my own kitchen, and seeing my dog again. It wasn’t a very exciting week, and that is sometimes a good thing. The kids’ school were postponed until the 10th, and they were very excited about the extra vacation time. We slept late and lounged about. With arctic temperatures outside, it certainly wasn’t worth going anywhere.

This coming week we have the school back on and the return of some warmer weather. And my poor puppy is getting dental surgery tomorrow. I sure hope he’s going to be okay.

And now, onto the reading part of this post. It was a slow week for me.

DONE AND DUSTED

Not all of these have a review on my blog. Reviews take time, and sometimes I just want to read a book without doing a review as well.

Hooked By That Book Review for Girls Before Earls by Anna Bennett
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hazel reluctantly takes on a surly teenage girl at her fledgling school. Can she manage Kitty and her handsome uncle?
Hooked By That Book: Shot Across the Bow by Julie Ann Walker
⭐⭐⭐ Romeo and Mia finally gave in to their attraction when they were stranded on a tiny island after their plane was bombed. And the team is getting closer to finding the treasure.

FOR THIS COMING WEEK

I look forward to my reading list this week and some extra ones will probably be added to the list as the week goes on.

Hooked By That Book Review for Dragon Unbound by Donna Grant
A new novella in the Dragon Kings series featuring Cullen and Tamlyn. Can't wait!
Hooked By That Book Review for How to Love Your Neighbor by Sophie Sullivan
Grace and Noah can't wait to have their dreams come true, but as neighbors, they stand in each other's way. Can this fence be mended?
