I’m starting a new feature here, called Monday Musings. I’ll reflect on the week gone past and make some plans for the week to come. Your thoughts and comments are always welcome. Feel free to join in.

August is chugging along, I’m a bit flustered, because it’ll be over before I know it. And with less COVID restrictions, we are finally able to make plans with other people. I know! Whatever will we do? We’re like cave people who are at last discovering that we are not alone. Today also marks my son’s birthday. He is certainly growing like a weed. We spent Sunday morning at the mall to get cupcakes and gifts and everything else ready for his big day.

On a more somber note, my mother passed away in 2019 and at that time I was able to travel to attend her memorial service and see my dad and my sister. On Tuesday, my dad, my sister, and my aunt threw my mom’s ashes into the ocean. I’m sad to have missed it, but I live vicariously through the pictures. Love you, Mom, always.

And in case you were wondering, my blog is on WordPress and for the book lists below I’m using the WordPress Grid Gallery Plugin by WonderPlugin.
