Well, I’m a bit late with my Monday Musings, but it’s still Monday in my time zone, so it counts.

I had a great week. I received a free book from the author Michelle M. Pillow as part of a program funded by the Mississippi Arts Commission (MAC) and the National Endowment for the Arts to distribute books. I am looking forward to reading my copy of Second Chance Magic and hope to have a review soon.

On Sunday my family and I immersed ourselves in the Van Gogh experience. I found it informative, entertaining, and interesting. I loved the moving paintings on the huge walls and the transitions, the music, and just the atmosphere of being there.

I’m in Alberta, Canada and we’ve had a lot of haze and smoke over the city from forest fires in British Columbia and Alberta. It is bad enough that we get smothered like that, but I cannot imagine what it is like living close to one of those fires, or having to evacuate and potentially lose your home. I hope everyone is safe. But we were offered a reprieve when it started to rain a few days ago. I just love the rain. Everything looks so clean again.

Well, onto the reading part of this post.
