⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The 17th book in the Lucy Kincaid series, and it never gets old.

Okay, I’ve had a few days to cool down since I finished this book, but every time I think about it my blood starts boiling again. Is it possible to love a book, but also hate it? Well, I do.

Cold as Ice jumps into action right from the start and it never lets up. Poor Lucy and Sean are properly put through the ringer, and just as you think things can’t possibly get any worse, they do! I had to take breaks to remind myself that this isn’t real and that everything is okay.

I loved that Lucy’s and Sean’s families were all there to help them. Some had bigger roles to play than others, but they all showed up to support them. It was brilliant.

Excellent writing, the tension is palpable, and if you don’t bite your nails yet, you just might start now. This is for you if you’re into wild, edge-of-your-seat craziness.

Was I hooked by this book? Completely.
