Welcome to my Weekly Wrap Up. I has been a few months since my last update, actually. My family and I went on a fabulous vacation for six weeks during July and August. And since I’ve been back I’ve been trying to catch up with reviews, ARC due dates, blog visits, and figuring out where what stands, among other things.
Our vacation took us to Rome, with a day visit to Florence, then a cruise with extended family in the Mediterranean, South Africa to visit more family, and Paris. It was amazing, mind-blowing and definitely memorable. Here are some pictures of the places we’ve seen.
I managed to read a whole bunch of books while we were away, but I am woefully behind in writing the reviews. I’m slowly getting there.
Tell me more about your July/August summer (or winter).
And now on to the reading part of the post. (Mobile users – tap on the image of the book cover. PC users – just hover the mouse over the cover.)
DONE AND DUSTED
For roughly the last two weeks, I posted one new review and one quickie review post.
FOR THIS COMING WEEK
Some more will inevitably be added as the week goes on.
QUOTES THAT CAUGHT MY EYE
From Road Trip With a Rogue by Kate Bateman: Daisy sighed. “I thought it would work in the same way as those inoculations invented by Dr. Jenner. If I deliberately infected myself with a small dose of the disease – Vaugh, in this case – I’d be able to fight off a much more serious case in the future. But I was wrong. I didn’t make myself immune. All I did was give myself a full-blown case of him. He’s all I can think about.”
The Love Fix by Jill Shalvis: Lexi had never understood how someone could sleep through a crisis. When did they do all of their panicking and overthinking?
OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS
You can find more recommendations here. Is there anything you’d like to recommend? I’m always open to new authors and new books.

And that’s it. Thanks for joining me on this Weekly Wrap Up adventure.
