This is book one in the series Inferno Rising.

Kasia is a phoenix, a revered creature, but believed to be gone forever. Brand is a rogue dragon, sent by his best friend, the King of the Blue Dragons, to bring Kasia to him. The two of them have strong chemistry right from the start.

Kasia was interesting and had a lot of problems to overcome related to using her abilities. Brand has a huge chip on his shoulder and tried to prove himself to all and sundry every chance he got.

I read through this pretty quickly, because I didn’t want to put it down. The story is interesting and the action is exciting.

Was I hooked by this book? Yes, I really wanted to see where it was going, and I liked the ending a lot. Can’t wait to read the next installment.
