⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Was I hooked by that book? Definitely. Is love a feeling, a choice, or both? Gianna and Drake have a fantastic time finding out.

“Try me.” That’s what Drake Bennett said when I declared on my live podcast that no man could make me fall in love. The former pro football star turned sportscaster didn’t just laugh—he challenged my entire brand. Gianna Knows Best is built on the idea that love is a choice. Drake says it’s a feeling—a magical, uncontrollable, world-shifting experience. I call BS. He says I’m scared. The audacity. So, we make a bet. Six weeks of dating… in front of millions of listeners. If I don’t fall for him, I win. If I do… don’t worry. Not going to happen. I expected spicy nights and viral ratings. What I didn’t expect was thoughtful surprises, spontaneous affection, and moments that make my heart do strange things. Drake isn’t who I thought he was, and I can’t tell what scares me that he’s been playing me all along or that I’m wrong about love. Either way, someone’s about to get hurt—and I bet it’ll be me.

MY THOUGHTS

Ooh, boy, that was some of the hottest (and slowest) foreplay ever. Talk about slow burn. The inevitable explosion was spectacular. Gianna and Drake walked a heated line of scorching attraction, light-hearted banter, and serious feelings, making this story immensely fun to read.

Gianna had walls around her heart as high as Everest and those were not going to come down without a fight. She had so much confidence, and yet she was so negative about herself. It just about broke my heart. Luckily, Drake had enough faith and love for both of them to give her time to catch up.

Drake and Gianna were just so damn cute. They stuck to their principles and found that they could stay true to themselves and have a great love at the same time. I was fully invested in these two and their messy feelings.

I can highly recommend this book if you like a friends-to-lovers, fake dating romance.
