⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Was I hooked by that book? Absolutely. It’s always a good sign when a book leaves you with a huge smile on your face at the end.

Atticus is the last Druid standing, but his existence is in serious trouble. Centuries ago he had stolen a magical sword from a god on a battlefield and the god wants it back. Atticus has managed to stay out of harm’s way by hiding and moving around all the time. Now, finally, he realizes that he has to make a stand and resolve the issue once and for all.

MY THOUGHTS

I am reading this series as part of the read-along hosted by Books Of My Heart.

Atticus attracted a strange assortment of Fae and gods to his side, and it gave truth to the saying, “With friends like these, who needs enemies.”

I truly enjoyed Hounded. I would have read it for the excellent writing alone, but luckily it came with outstanding world-building and a compelling story. The dialogue was witty and fun and the rich cast of characters were all well developed.

The point is, Mrs. MacDonagh, that the universe is exactly the size that your soul can encompass. Some people live in extremely small worlds, and some live in a world of infinite possibility.

It’s not my usual romance fare, but if you like fantasy and magic with action galore, then I can highly recommend this book. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
