⭐⭐⭐ Was I hooked by that book? Yes. A Springtide Meeting has a super cute premise, and it was executed quite well.
BLURB
Miss Cordelia Honeyfield’s wild spirit doesn’t fit the mold set by society and her family sends her to Weymouth, a small seaside town, to meet with Dr. Timothy Walsingham. Timothy is expecting a sweet old lady and Cordelia is waiting to meet the older, distinguished doctor. In a strange case of mistaken identity, the two meet and slowly fall in love.
MY THOUGHTS
It was a quick, sweet, romantic read. I really enjoyed their interactions for the first few days before they knew the other’s true identity. Cordelia did overreact, maybe in keeping with her lively ways, and her reason for going to Weymouth could’ve used a bit more explanation. Things wrapped up very quickly at the end too, which isn’t that strange for a novella. It might’ve been nice if their relationship and the ending could’ve been fleshed out a bit more. But it did end on a satisfactory note.

Genre: Historical Romance
I don’t read many novellas, because they are just too quick for me. This sounds really good though…
Generally, I’m not a huge novella fan either for the same reason, but this one works. The ending did wrap up a bit too fast.
