Everything happens through Odessa’s eyes and the world-building unfurls as she experiences new things and thinks about the facts she already knows. There were quite a few interesting twists and I cannot wait for what happens next.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I loved everything about this book. Clara’s sass, her ability to charm everyone around her, and her unwavering grit to just jump with both feet. Caelan lived his life exactly the way he wanted, and he didn’t care what anybody else thought. He fell first and the ensuing shenanigans and banter were top notch. This was a book that was impossible to put down.

The hardest thing for a paranormal conspiracy theorist and a web series producer to believe in is finding love in this swoony debut romantic comedy.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ I really enjoyed the back-and-forth between Hallie and Hayden on their show. And their cryptid hunting adventures, with Hallie’s blatant skepticism. They were clearly very good for each other and stood in stark contrast with Hallie’s fears surrounding her ex and his influence at their workplace. This book was a lot of fun to read.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Verity had a once-in-a-lifetime chance to delve into her own heritage and the strong women that came before her. It was a fun and exciting read with ghosts, dangerous investigations, and unexpected twists. Ellis was still the solid ground beneath Verity’s shifting world, even though he played a smaller role. I wished there was more of the two of them.
