Quickie Reviews are what it says, a short one paragraph review for those books that didn’t get a full page review.
The Lady Tempts an Heir by Harper St. George
Max talks Helena into a fake engagement to suit both of their purposes, but the chemistry between them is all too real.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fake engagement leads to a heart-warming, emotional romance. I just couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between Max and Helena was positively sizzling and I loved the two of them together. They dealt with everything thrown their way in a mature manner and they were definitely stronger as a couple. While it was clear they would end up together, it wasn’t obvious how they were going to get there. The book captured the complex relationships with their families perfectly.

The Suite Spot by Trish Doller
⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a wonderful, emotional, and heart-warming story. Rachel’s dreams came true in an unexpected way when she got the chance to help Mason build the hotel and brewery. Mason’s beer-making expanded and improved in sync with his capacity to allow love into his life. It is a slow burn with longing glances and inadvertent flirting, that led to a beautiful romance. I loved the foreign words and their explanations at the start of each chapter.
Rachel moves away from everything she knows to help a stranger build his hotel and brewery.

Windy City Dragon by Genevieve Jack
Gabriel and Raven took a risk to reconnect with Tobias in Chicago. The exiled dragon prince has an interesting encounter with one of the nurses at the hospital. Only, Sabrina is not just a nurse. She is also the heir to the large vampire community dominating the underworld of the city.
⭐⭐⭐ I liked the first book more. The passion between Tobias and Sabrina was a bit more subdued here and their connection wasn’t as clear. I am also finding it difficult to imagine their life together in the vampire den. Raven and Gabriel sort of insinuated themselves into Tobias’s life, but I enjoyed the brothers’ reconnecting and Raven’s antics. The mystery surrounding their mother and the current state of events in Paragon are simultaneously a bit clearer and not. The story seems to be leading us in a specific direction, but that may be a red herring. I will definitely read the rest of this series.

Holiday Rebel by Rebecca Zanetti
Serenity breaks up with Rory when she discovers he lied about his job and who knows what else. Rory is determined to keep her safe and win her back.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was so sweet and I loved Serenity and Rory. Serenity was kind of fighting a losing battle there, but it was great that she made him work a bit to get her back. The action was fast-moving and this novella packed quite a bit in. Nothing felt rushed, though, and everything was resolved satisfactorily. Of course, the fun wouldn’t be complete without the whole Albertini gang helping and Nonna’s interference.

Hope you enjoyed these quickie reviews. Have you read any of these books yet?
I see a theme here! Thanks for sharing your reviews!
Feel free to use the idea. This is my take on some of the mini reviews I’ve seen on other blogs.
I have only read one of these – The Suite Spot which I loved. Zanetti is a favorite so I may have to check out her book.
I love Rebecca Zanetti. And this one is a great series. You can read this novella on it’s own, though. It just mentions a bunch of the other characters a lot.
I’d like to try Harper St. George, especially seeing your 5 stars! I enjoyed The Suite Spot, and the other two in the series even more. I’ve read and had fun with Zanetti, but it’s been a while since I picked her up. Great mini reviews!
Thanks! I hope you like her books, if you ever get the chance to read them.
I really need to read Trish Doller some day. Thanks for sharing these!
