Welcome to another Monday Musings. How are you all doing? Well, September is over and gone, and October is here. I’m loving the fall colours. We are looking forward to our Thanksgiving weekend. The 10th is Thanksgiving Day, but I’m hosting a dinner on the Saturday for us and a few friends. Very excited about it.
September closed off on a quiet note. We were just busy with all the usual things such as school and work and chores and errands. I had an ECG. It was my first and it was a super interesting experience. No issues, but there’s a history of heart problems in my family, so we’re just having it checked out early. Holding thumbs for a good outcome here.
On the movie/tv series front we watched Bullet Train this past weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was loud, brass, crass, and fun. Have you watched anything good lately?
Thanks to all your suggestions for labelling sex in a book. I’ve added my own little scoring system and explained it here. I’ve also changed the format of my review posts slightly. I suppose it’s always a work in progress and as we grow and change, we think of new creative ways to present the posts. If you have a blog, have you made lots of changes to how your posts look over time?
And now on to the reading part of the post. (To find out more about the books: For mobile users – tap on the image of the book cover. For PC users – just hover the mouse over the cover.)
DONE AND DUSTED
It was a fun and productive reading week.
FOR THIS COMING WEEK
I look forward to my reading list this week and some extra ones will probably be added to the list as the week goes on.
OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS
You can find more recommendations here. Is there anything you’d like to recommend? I’m always open to new authors and new books.
What are you reading? Let me know in the comments below.
And that’s it. Thanks for musing with me on this beautiful Monday.
You read some of my faves this week – Ruby Fever, Love on the Brain and A Turn of the Tide. Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks. It was a good week of reading.
I like to change up things on my blog from time to time as well. You sure read a lot of good books in September.
I’m glad to read your ECG is fine and I think you’re wise to be proactive in getting checked given your family history. I love all Susan Mallery’s books and really enjoyed The Friendship List.
