Welcome to my Monday Musings. My first post of November. What’s that saying? The time change on Sunday was about as welcome as a fart in church. Last night I was feeling antsy by 7pm because it was super dark outside and it felt like midnight. It’s gonna take some time to adjust to this new normal. At least we got to see the aurora, so that was a plus.

I missed my Monday post last week. Work had me swamped and I barely had time to crack open a book, let alone do any blogging or reviewing. By Friday I felt like a drunk butterfly emerging from the wrong cocoon. But we had friends over for dinner and boy, did I ever need that.

And now on to the reading part of the post. (To find out more about the books: For mobile users – tap on the image of the book cover. For PC users – just hover the mouse over the cover.)

DONE AND DUSTED

I added two new reviews this week, and some new quickie reviews.

FOR THIS COMING WEEK

Looks like the week for historical romance. Some more will inevitably be added as the week goes on.

QUOTES THAT CAUGHT MY EYE

From The Duchess Takes a Husband by Harper St. George: Lilian shrugged. “Sometimes it’s easier to keep things the way they are, especially if you aren’t the one suffering.”

From From Bad to Cursed by Lana Harper: “End of the day, we’re all living beings, right? And everything alive just wants to feel like they’re not in this alone.”

From The Gossip and The Grump by Pippa Grant: Dammit, he looks like a box of chocolates that you know only has the kinds you like in it, even though you know you’re allergic to one of them, but you can’t help wanting to roulette the whole box anyway.

OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS

You can find more recommendations here. Is there anything you’d like to recommend? I’m always open to new authors and new books.

What are you reading? Let me know in the comments below.

And that’s it. Thanks for musing with me on this beautiful Monday.
