Welcome to my Monday Musings. It’s May and spring is definitely in the air. Finally. I missed last week’s musings, oops. The past two weeks have been good. My most exciting news is that I started doing a glass blowing class with a friend. We’ve had two lessons now, I’m still nervous, but the enjoyment-factor is definitely climbing. Over the weekend we had a company come in to clean our carpet upstairs and let me tell you, it was badly needed.
And now on to the reading part of the post. (Mobile users – tap on the image of the book cover. PC users – just hover the mouse over the cover.)
DONE AND DUSTED
I added three new reviews and there are no new quickie reviews.
FOR THIS COMING WEEK
Some more will inevitably be added as the week goes on.
INTERESTING QUOTES
From One Fine May by Courtney McCaskill: Still, the man is more slippery than an eel rubbed with lard, and for all his brains, has the attention span of a gnat.
From The Bigtime Series Volume 1 by Jennifer Estep: “Don’t blow yourself up, Carmen. You’re becoming one of my best clients.” I wasn’t sure what to say. I’d never thought I’d be on a bomber’s preferred client list. Although, if he gave me a discount, it might be worth it.
From The Blast From the Past by Lucy Score: Roz and Kory were related to Mrs. Penny in some complicated way that sounded more like a family shrub than a family tree.
From The Blast From the Past by Lucy Score: Tommy, still in his knight armor, fell out of the living room window onto the porch. It sounded like a canned soup display collapsing in a supermarket.

How fun you are trying new skills. That does sound a little scary though.
Glassblowing??? That is SO COOL! I hope you share photos of your creations. Looks like some you got some good books, too!
