Welcome to another Monday Musings. March is here! In Canada it’s still cold and snowing on and off. We had a fairly big snowfall over the weekend and today is pretty cold.

We are still busy painting, it’s going to take a while. I also took on some freelance work, so that used up some of my time. Last week I had breakfast one day with a friend and lunch the next day with another friend. I feel so blessed that I can do things like that. And on Saturday I got together with a group of friends for a late afternoon tea and cake visit. Sunday my family and I went bowling. It’s been a while, and we won’t be winning any awards any time soon, but we did have a lot of fun.

My husband and I are watching season 6 of Outlander on Netflix. It’s been a while since I read the books, so it’s been fun watching the show and remembering some details.

And now on to the reading part of the post. (To find out more about the books: For mobile users – tap on the image of the book cover. For PC users – just hover the mouse over the cover.)

DONE AND DUSTED

I only did one review, but enjoyed all of the books.

FOR THIS COMING WEEK

Looking forward to my reading for this week.

QUOTES THAT CAUGHT MY EYE

From Hounded by Kevin Hearne: Besides, there’s that saying about laughter being the best medicine. Whoever said that didn’t have blood in their left lung, though, I feel certain.

Another one from Hounded by Kevin Hearne: “Will you tell me about Genghis Khan’s whores while I’m in the bath?” “Hordes, not whores. He had both, though, now that you mention it.” “Sounds like he was a busy guy.”

OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS

You can find more recommendations here. Is there anything you’d like to recommend? I’m always open to new authors and new books.

What are you reading? Let me know in the comments below.

And that’s it. Thanks for musing with me on this beautiful Monday.
