Welcome to my Monday Musings. It’s been two weeks (again) since my last weekly update. Last week Monday ended up filled with all kinds of things that left no time for a blog post. Our weather went from a really cold patch with lots of snow to warmer weather and the rapidly melting snow of the past few days. We had friends over for dinner over the weekend and I met up with a good friend that I don’t get to see very often.
And now on to the reading part of the post. (Mobile users – tap on the image of the book cover. PC users – just hover the mouse over the cover.)
DONE AND DUSTED
I added three new reviews and you can find the latest quickie reviews here. It looks like a lot (probably is), but this is two weeks’ worth of reading.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Alexander carelessly ruined Emily's reputation in a drunken encounter. A hasty marriage neither party wanted is about to become a passionate battle of wills.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tasha's secrets are threatening to ruin everything as she gets closer to Rhys and the Travers' family.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ To save an innocent man’s life, amateur sleuth and cook Kat Holloway must expose a financial scam that could ruin the most powerful aristocrats in Victorian-era London.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Caro is stranded on a tropical isle with her brother’s infuriating best friend, Max, the 14th duke of Hayworth.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ A longtime good girl and unapologetic bad boy score the love of their life when they least expect to in this swoony, slow-burn sports romance.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Luna has to deal with a new partner and discovers everything she thought she new about her old boss was wrong.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Casey follows her best friend to Rockton, where people like her can hide. Rockton could use a detective like her and soon she is confronted with all sorts of secrets.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Casey and Will chase a cabin-fevered resident into the woods, where they are stranded in a blizzard. They discover a missing woman who’s been held captive for over a year.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Avery volunteers to enter a protected pocket of magic to find Xavier. She helps him free his clan and restore order.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Elisa and her friends defend Chicago against the demons.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Carter needs Hadley as his shrink, but he might need her more as his mate. When her life is in danger, Carter pulls out all the stops to keep her safe.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Portia agrees to doctor a highwayman at the forceful behest of his brother and finds much more than she bargained for.
FOR THIS COMING WEEK
Some more will inevitably be added as the week goes on.
Jasper is supposed to spy on Willa, but she is nothing like he expected and soon he has to make some difficult choices.
Fiona Mahoney’s past returns to haunt her present as a prizefighter from her hometown becomes the only suspect in a gruesome, high-society murder.
Rival archaeologists must team up on a secret Aztec expedition, or it could leave their careers, and hearts, in ruins.

I’m glad Come Rain Or Shine worked better for you! Have a great week and happy reading.
Thanks, you too!
It looks like you are reading Kelley Armstrong books that I love so much! Both of those series and more.
Yes, I feel like I’m a bit on a Kelley Armstrong bender at the moment. It amazes me the very different books she has available.
I hope to get to Come Rain or Shine and The Bright Spot over the next week. Glad to see you enjoyed them.
Hope you enjoy both.
Come Rain Or Shine sounds like a great read! Have a wonderful week Rolé!
Thanks, you too!
I’ll be interested to see your thoughts on Raiders of the Lost Heart. I know it’s now Friday, so I hope you’ve had a good week!
I quite liked it, though now that I’m thinking about it a bit, there are a lot of issues with it. But it was fun to read.
I am waiting patiently for the audiobook of Speculations in Sin, which hasn’t yet been released.
Hope you love it!
I’m glad you enjoyed If Only You. I enjoyed that one. It looks like her read a lot of other good books as well.
