Welcome to my Monday Musings. It has been two weeks since my last musings. I’ve been very busy. We had provincial elections here with advanced voting from the 23rd to the 27th and the official election day on the 29th. I worked at a voting station on all of those days. It was interesting and I loved doing it, but those were super long and tiring days. I took full advantage of the quieter week following all of that. And with the warmer weather I had more time to just sit on the deck and enjoy the budding garden.

DONE AND DUSTED
I posted three reviews over the last two weeks.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seth and his mate, Mia, are still fighting to solidify their leadership of the pack, and dealing with a killer who is targeting Mia.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gabriel heals Raven from her deadly cancer in the hopes that she can unlock her magic and save his life in return.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brooks made a mistake to let Darcy walk away once. Now he might get a second chance while trying to keep her safe.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Matteo is back in Vermont for his brother's wedding. He's there to make amends with his family and then unexpectedly gets tangled up in an affair with Leila, and old friend from school.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Banks and Sara discover there is a very thin line between animosity and love.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Matt and Kara try to balance their floundering relationship with an intriguing case of murder and drugs in the swamps of Louisiana.

Christian is in bad shape after being tortured by the French. He drags his late wife's cousin, Gillian, with him to the country to try to help his traumatized daughter.
Lottie is a danger to others and keeps to herself to protect them, but she is helpless to resist the lure of Alasdair.
Olivia accidentally starts a steamy text thread and was shocked to discover her brother's best friend on the other end.

From The Dragon of New Orleans by Genevieve Jack: The only way to describe her now was haunting. The bones of her cheeks protruded as if her skeleton was battling her skin for rights to the surface.
From Happy Place by Emily Henry: Meanwhile, I’m basically a walking, breathing bottle of soda into which a Mentos has been plopped, panic fizzing up, threatening to spew out between my cells.
