Whoa, it’s been a month since my last musings. What can I say? It was the end of the school year, both kids were writing exams, work was piling up, and I was trying to plan our summer break.
We did get away last week for a camping trip to British Columbia. It was amazing. The weather wasn’t the best, but we had time away from screens and social media and talked and played games, went on hikes, and explored the area.
We had a surprise visit from a deer in our backyard when we came back. Usually we only see them in winter, so this was a strange encounter. And later in the afternoon I discovered the gate at the back of our yard was open and the mommy deer had brought her baby too. They are so cute, but they ate all my flowers and I really hope they will recover.
Plans for our summer break are also shaping up well. We are looking forward to family visiting soon and another camping trip.
And now on to the reading part of the post. I did get a lot of reading done, but not so many reviews, unfortunately.
My reading past and present:

DONE AND DUSTED
I read quite a bit, but didn’t get around to do enough reviews.
FOR THIS COMING WEEK
I look forward to my reading list this week and some extra ones will probably be added to the list as the week goes on. I’ve already read some of these, just have to get the reviews done now.

And that’s it. Thanks for musing with me on this beautiful Monday.
I love the photos, especially the deer. We’ll be camping in British Columbia next week, and I can’t wait.
Hope you have a great time camping.
I’m glad you had a nice trip and you’re reading some GREAT books.
I am, I feel very fortunate. I’m just so behind on the ARCs, it’s not even funny.
