Welcome to another Monday Musings. It’s been two weeks yet again.

The first week of January slipped by in a quiet blur. We got caught up on some necessary things like doctor’s appointments and house work. I did a lot of reading and went to a friend’s birthday tea. The second week saw the return to school and work in all earnest. My high schooler is busy with exams, so he is spending more time at home until the second semester starts in the beginning of February. And even the weather has been kind to us at the onset of this new year.

My reading is still going strong and I’m quite excited about the books I already have lined up and the ones that are still to be released. What are you looking forward to the most for the next couple of months?

And now on to the reading part of the post. (To find out more about the books: For mobile users – tap on the image of the book cover. For PC users – just hover the mouse over the cover.)

DONE AND DUSTED

Other than these two, I have been rereading The Hidden Legacy series by Ilona Andrews.

FOR THIS COMING WEEK

Looking forward to my reading for this week.

READING CHALLENGE UPDATE

I’ve signed up for the What’s in a Name 2023 Challenge. I just started reading The Christmas Wedding Guest. I know, I know, it’s way past Christmas, but I didn’t get a chance to read it at the end of last year.

OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS

Like I said, I read The Hidden Legacy series by Ilona Andrews again. It’s just as good now as it was when I first read it. If you like fantasy and romance, then don’t miss this series. And then, because I was apparently feeling nostalgic, I also picked up the first book in the Psy-Changeling series by Nalini Singh. This is an excellent series if you like paranormal and steamy romance.

You can find more recommendations here. Is there anything you’d like to recommend? I’m always open to new authors and new books.

What are you reading? Let me know in the comments below.

And that’s it. Thanks for musing with me on this beautiful Monday.
