Welcome to my Monday Musings. I skipped last week’s Monday post. My reading was a bit erratic over the last two weeks. I tried to stay ahead of ARCs, though I’m starting to fall behind somewhat. And then I reread Moon Called by Patricia Briggs for an online book club, and before I knew it, I was binge reading the entire rest of that series like there’s no tomorrow.
The last two weeks I was busy with work, visiting with friends, and this past weekend my family and I spent one day driving through the Rockies and doing some sightseeing.
And now on to the reading part of the post. (Mobile users – tap on the image of the book cover. PC users – just hover the mouse over the cover.)
DONE AND DUSTED
I added two new reviews and there are no new quickie reviews.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Laurel and Paris welcome Cassie into their book club. Inspired by the heroines who risk everything for fulfillment, they begin to take chances, big chances, in life, in love.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ A warm and romantic novel about a marriage in trouble, two conspiring kids, and the meaning of long-lasting love.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sail the magical high seas with Bowen the honorable pirate captain and Evelyn the impulsive and sneaky witch in this new sexy fantasy romance series.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Opposites attract in this heartfelt, modern marriage-of-convenience romance about finding love, and home, in the most unlikely of places.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ She's a wolf-shifting scientist who needs cover... And he’s an alpha without a pack…
⭐⭐⭐⭐ When Clarissa suddenly loses her magic, she goes to the only person who can help her. But what kind of welcome will Nathaniel give her after she rejected him?
FOR THIS COMING WEEK
Some more will inevitably be added as the week goes on.
Bailey gets sucked into a murder investigation involuntarily. Luckily Dom is nearby to offer assistance and support.
Edwin meets Adam amidst a broken heart and a flood. As they grow closer, Edwin learns he can’t protect himself from everything, and sometimes he doesn't need to try.
Enemies become lovers in this sizzling sports romance about taking a chance on love when life’s taught you it’s a losing game.
OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS
You can find more recommendations here. Is there anything you’d like to recommend? I’m always open to new authors and new books.

And that’s it. Thanks for joining me on this Monday Musings adventure.

I didn’t post this last Sunday because I needed to devote as much time as possible to reading. I’m behind in my ARC reading, too! I’m trying to catch up for committed dates and it’s been tough. I will not be committing to as much in the future! Yay for binge reading Mercy Thompson!! I absolutely LOVE the series! I’ve re-read it like four times. It’s one of my all time favorites!
I sometimes skip my weekly update. And I’m looking forward to the next Mercy Thompson.
I hope things are settling for you. I’m not overly busy but I’ve not been reading much. I’m not behind, because I didn’t schedule much this year. I’m picking up At First Spite by Olivia Dade, which came out last week. I love her stuff.
Hope you love it.
LOL, Every once in a while, one must binge. It’s like a purging. Hehe. Not a bad series to binge either!!
So true.
Mercy Thompson series is amazing!! I had it for my 2020 Read-along to refresh myself since there are lots of books now and I’d read several of them a year apart.
It was well worth reading them again.
I get being behind! I will think I’m ahead with review books so pick up a TBR book. Then that one I don’t rush as much with and get behind again. Although the past two months with the DNFs I’ve had, I’ve stayed mostly on track. Hope this is a better week for you!

Hunt on Dark Waters is one I can’t wait to get my hands on! I’m not even a huge fan of Katee Robert’s (I know, I know) but this one just sounds so good!
Hope you like it.
I hope you love Everything for You. That was a good book.
I did like it. Just finished it yesterday.
