Welcome to my Monday Musings.
Let me start with the saga of my breaking appliances. Turns out the drier was a quick and easy fix, a la my handy husband. It had a screw loose (don’t we all!) and is now back in tip-top shape. Thank goodness.
My week was a mixture of excitement and mundane. We had to make a few trips to the orthodontist, nothing serious, luckily. I’ve been dog sitting for a friend, her 2-year-old Yorkie is visiting with us. He’s very cute, but very demanding. This past weekend I hosted some friends for dinner and it was a most excellent start to the Christmas festivities. This week I’m planning and prepping and overthinking for a party on Saturday at my house. How is all your holiday planning coming along?
We’ve had some snow with some more predicted for this coming week. Definitely looking white so far.
And now, onto the reading part of this post.
My reading past and present:

DONE AND DUSTED
Not all of these have a review on my blog. Reviews take time, and sometimes I just want to read a book without doing a review as well.
FOR THIS COMING WEEK
I look forward to my reading list this week and some extra ones will probably be added to the list as the week goes on.
OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS
You can find more recommendations from me here. Is there anything you’d like to recommend? I’m always open to new authors and new books.
What are you reading? Let me know in the comments below.
And that’s it. Thanks for musing with me on this beautiful Monday.
I’m glad the dyer was an easier fix. I hope you have a great holiday with family and friends but stay safe. It’s weird to have Christmas here without snow. I have done no decorating or anything yet.
