Welcome to another Monday Musings. I think I’m over my bout of COVID now, there’s a bit of a lingering cough, but that’s also improved a lot over the past week. And just when I thought I was back in the game, I twisted my ankle on some stairs last Monday afternoon. So, I’ve been hobbling around and generally trying to stay quiet and off my feet. Of course, that means there was more time for reading, and that is always a win.
My husband had his birthday this past weekend and our family went out for dinner at a local Nepalese restaurant. It was an unforgettable experience. I cannot express enough how much joy it is to spend time with my husband and my two teenagers.
Are you watching anything interesting at the moment? We’re on Season 4 of Stranger Things and have the last episode left. Boy, episode 7 sure blew my mind. Young Sheldon is super entertaining and we watched Top Gun 2 for the second time. Still love it.
And now on to the reading part of the post. (To find out more about the books: For mobile users – tap on the image of the book cover. For PC users – just hover the mouse over the cover.)
DONE AND DUSTED
It was eclectic mix of historical romance and fantasy.
FOR THIS COMING WEEK
I look forward to my reading list this week and some extra ones will probably be added to the list as the week goes on.
