Welcome to another Monday Musings. I’ve been away again for quite a while, but this time I had the most excellent excuse. We had family visiting from various parts of the world and for some of them this was their first visit to Canada. Seeing each other again in person is indescribably special. It’s amazing how people can seem strange but familiar all at the same time. It took no time at all to find a good groove with each other and soon we were talking and laughing like we see each other all the time. A lot of sightseeing ensued, too much good food, and we squeezed in a camping trip to the mountains. The camping trip delivered as well, in terms of scenery, great weather, and more bear encounters than you need.

Unfortunately, I also picked up COVID during this vacation, so I got benched for most of the activities. I lived vicariously through the others. We will miss their smiling faces, laughter, and conversation. Hopefully it won’t take that long before we can come together again.

And now on to the reading part of the post. I’m changing it up a bit for this week, since I haven’t done any reviews lately. I’m hoping to get some done in this coming week.

I’m still a bit behind on my reviews, but I’ll get there.

CURRENTLY READING

I look forward to my reading list this week and some extra ones will probably be added to the list as the week goes on.
