Hi, and welcome to my Monday Musings.

Wow, it’s April already! We’re having superb weather at the moment. The snow is sticking to the mountains, where they belong, and here in the city it’s mostly melted by now.

Last week I had another lovely coffee visit with a friend. The kids kept busy with school and homework. On Saturday we tackled the ski slopes again and it started out brilliantly. I was having so much fun and then, yep, you guessed it, I fell. Again. Just not in the parking lot this time. Not sure exactly what happened, but I landed pretty hard on my head. Luckily, the ski patrol stopped by about 2 seconds later. He bundled me up and delivered me to the first aid station on his snow mobile and continued to check my vitals. Everything was fine, except for a wicked headache. All-in-all it turned out well, I left that day with a mild concussion and a cracked helmet. So next weekend I’m shopping for a new one. The helmet most definitely did its job.

Needless to say the rest of my weekend was quiet. The body aches and pains hit me a little bit later and yesterday I did as little as possible. This morning I’m feeling a lot more alive, still with a headache and various other aches, but a bit more mobile and awake.

And now on to the reading part of the post. I’m still a bit behind on the reviewing, and I didn’t have a lot of time for reading, unfortunately.
