Hi, and welcome to my Monday Musings.
I missed last week’s musings, and I apologize for that. I am happy to say that I am completely recovered from my minor concussion and all aches and pains are now gone. Well, I have some new ones, but they’re because of different reasons.
A couple of weeks ago I drove a friend to the airport and I had an absolute blast chatting with her on the way. Later that same week a different friend came over with her two teenagers and, together with my youngest, the three of them replaced an iPhone battery. It was awesome seeing them work together like that and listening to their conversations as they went along.
My oldest graduates from high school this year and is off to university come the fall. Last weekend there was a tour at the university campus. I certainly had a great time exploring everything, and I’m sure everyone else did too. I found it interesting and I learned so much about how it all works. Hopefully, the tour has lessened some of my kid’s anxiety about this big step coming up.
We had a lovely quiet Easter weekend. My husband and son went skiing on Saturday and I spent the day catching up with house chores mostly. And some reading, of course. On Sunday morning we had friends over for a big brunch with a lovely visit that lasted into the afternoon. And today my daughter organized an Easter egg hunt for us. It was surprisingly fun and competitive.
This past weekend we watched The Age of Adeline on Netflix. The movie has an interesting premise and was actually pretty interesting. And we also watched The Batman. Have you seen anything worth mentioning lately?
And now on to the reading part of the post.

FOR THIS COMING WEEK
I look forward to my reading list this week and some extra ones will probably be added to the list as the week goes on.
