Welcome to my Monday Musings. I missed my recap last Monday and I think I’ll keep my book updates to just this past week’s reading.
We had friends over for dinner and last weekend I met up with a group of friends and one of my friends showed us how to make a flower arrangement. Here’s mine. It was a lot of fun. And this past weekend we went to look at some open houses just for interest’s sake. The weather has picked up over the past week and we’ve had some really lovely days. But, alas, winter isn’t ready to let us go. This coming week is forecast to be colder again.
And now on to the reading part of the post. (Mobile users – tap on the image of the book cover. PC users – just hover the mouse over the cover.)
DONE AND DUSTED
I added two new reviews and the latest quickie reviews are here.
FOR THIS COMING WEEK
Some more will inevitably be added as the week goes on.
INTERESTING QUOTES
From The Reason I Married Him by Meghan Quinn: Even after that, it took exactly thirty-two hours and eleven minutes for my tongue to forgive me and allow me to taste other things again.
From Between Us by Mhairi McFarlane: Nearly a decade on, it was as if their love was a neglected, autumn leaf-strewn swimming pool. It technically still existed, yet Joe had drained the water out, inch by inch. If you jumped into it, there was nothing there.
From The Fake Mate by Lana Ferguson: Parker snorts. “Oh, so now you’ve got a multifaceted deception going on? Whipping ourselves up a tomfoolery tiramisu, are we?”
From The Dead Guy Next Door by Lucy Score: She appeared to be immune to his dimples. This was unchartered territory for Nick Santiago.
OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS

Sounds like you had a great weekend and some great reads to go with it.
I have flowers but no skill at arranging. Yours are lovely.
Thanks. I did have someone telling me what to do, so that helped.
Such lovely flowers and new arrivals! Have a wonderful week!
Thanks, you too!
I remember taking a flower arranging class in middle school. I wish I remembered some of it! Sounds like it was a good week. I need to read more books by Lucy Score and The Fake Mate is on my TBR.
